21 years ago (ohmygoodnessdidijustsaythat), I stepped into De La Salle University-Manila with my Papa for a college application. I failed the entrance exam because I got an envelope with a one-page letter while some of my classmates got a thick envelope full of enrolment forms.
I came back today and helped a class of tomorrow’s technopreneurs. I taught them how to market online through a short talk (side by side with Nina Mendoza). We thank Professor (and author) JB Borromeo for inviting us.
Was it a revengeful comeback? Not really. I realized I had to experience failure so I could be a better person today.
I may not have set foot in DLSU-Manila, but its brother school, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, welcomed me with open arms. I finished A.B. Communication there in 2002.
