Virtual professionals are not just surviving in the gig economy—we’re thriving, adapting, and proving that meaningful work can happen anywhere.
October 15, 2019

I spoke at a forum organized by the Institute for Labor Studies – DOLE.

I shared my journey on how I took the virtual professional route. I also gave my insights on how we, virtual professionals, are going to thrive in the gig economy.

I learned a lot from Architect JP Espino, DCAP’s Genesis Reonico, Bianca Cruz of Acceler8 by UnionSPACE, and Ria Lu of GDAP during the form. It’s an honor to step into the platform with them.

Thank you, DOLE-ILS for inviting me.

I also would like to thank my Motley Crew – Jomar Hilario, Ryan Mendoza, Nins Mendoza, and Fred Mosquida – for gracing the forum. Thanks for helping me letting the world know we exist and we thrive.

Here are some of the behind-the-scenes photos from the forum:

Panel part! Fun fact: may ginawa akong task niyan. Pero naintindihan ko ang mga sinasabi ng mga kasama ko. 🙂

I also would like to thank my Motley Crew – Jomar Hilario, Ryan Mendoza, Nins Mendoza, and Fred Mosquida – for gracing the event. First time kong ma-meet si Architect JP!

Time to talk!

Sharing my wake up call here.

Another look at the panel.

Oooppss, my time on the mic. 🙂
