My client gave me a rate increase! Hooray!
I got a surprise to see two e-mails from ODesk the other day. When I opened them one by one, I realized something.
I just got an increase in my hourly rate as a virtual assistant.
My client (whom I have worked with for six months) told me a few months ago that she’s going to give me an increase in my VA rate. But I had to do my job in reminding her. I did remind her on my output report that I sent to her last week.
Wow. I just got an increase.
I found this good news very special. I remembered what I had been through before nailing this job. Since then, I have learned a lot from the job, how to deal with foreign clients, and how important putting value to yourself is.
