I recently tweeted that I am now on my 15th book of the year!

I was happy to tweet that for many reasons: one, I am beyond my target of one book a month (12 books a year); two, I am reading more physical books you know, the one with paper and you hold it with your two hands?) than listening to audio books; three, as related to reason number two – is because I now have the time to read a physical book!

But out of the 15 books, I found two that are really life-changing. The two books are easy-to-read and easy-to-apply. If I will follow the instructions of the book, I will again see myself on a new adventure. But since it is not yet the end of the year, I will keep the book titles a secret (wink wink).

Indeed, reading books is not only expanding my horizon and imagination; it also lets me discover new things that can help me improve myself.

How about you? Have you found the book that can change your life?

If I may suggest, I recommend you to buy “Virtual Careers: Earn Dollars at Home, Eliminate Daily Stress, Embrace Your Family More”, the first-ever book of my mentor, Jomar Hilario. You will discover a secret formula that unlocks the steps to your virtual career, unique solutions to fix most online job problems and more.

Get a chance to peep on the stories of ordinary Filipinos who work from home (like moi). And for inspiration, the book also has wonderful freedom scenes that you will experience if you follow the instructions in the book!

Virtual Careers is the book version of the How to Become a Virtual Assistant Seminar that Jomar ran for many years. I have attended that seminar twice – one in a downloadable version (learn at your own pace) and one live event (where I got to share my experiences as a virtual professional). The seminar paved the way for me to become a virtual professional.

I am happy that the Virtual Careers book finally came out. It is one of the few books in the country that talks about virtual careers (because people think we don’t exist). I was able to attend a few live meet ups with Jomar where during our activity, he would write this book. I realized how hard it is to write a book, yet it inspired me to publish mine in the near future.

My mother has read the book right after I got home from buying it at the 36th Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center. She realized she reached the middle of the book! Go check her mid-book review.

If you think this book is for you, then go get your copy at the 36th Manila International Book Fair happening at the SMX Convention Center from 16 to 20 September 2015. Go to the booth of Shepherd’s Voice Publications in Aisle K (K for Kerygma!). Who knows? You might get to talk to my mentor, too!
