Sorry Not Sorry: On Deleting Emails from Lists

By Ann Kristine A. Peñaredondo | Exceptional Social

Sep 26

So my email list is down from 700+ to 284.

I spent the day deleting and cleaning my email lists to be sure that I am only talking to people who really open and respond to my emails.

Does this mean I believe in quantity vs. quality? It depends.

Some digital marketers have more than 10,000 emails (a dream for me). Some have 1,000. Some have 500.

Some of these digital marketers say that they could no longer keep up with the replies that they are getting. Or how they are getting their sales KPI with just their email list alone.

While some… well, I don’t hear from them.

Here’s what I learned from John Pagulayan: nurture your email list. It doesn’t matter how many they are. Talk to them. Build rapport.

Then let the magic unfold.
