I recently came across a question Brian Tracy posted on LinkedIn:

*”If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?”*

It made me pause and reflect. If I could go back in time, what would I say to my younger self?

My answer came surprisingly easy:

*”Your guidance counselor told you that your career assessment results show you’re a good fit for marketing. Heed her advice—because no matter what path you take, you’ll find yourself doing marketing anyway.”*

At that time, I shrugged it off. Marketing wasn’t exactly the dream. But life has a way of leading us to where we’re meant to be. Now, looking back, I see the irony—because here I am, fully immersed in the world of marketing, loving the work I do, and helping others thrive in their businesses.

Sometimes, the advice we need is given to us early on—we just don’t realize it yet.
