“You are ready when you are ready.”

That was one of the insights that I learned from Karla Stefan Singson in one of our recent conversations.

It’s impossible not to learn from her even if she isn’t wearing a mentor’s hat. Heck, I even learn from her jokes. So yes, I sometimes laugh after 10 seconds.

To say that she is always ready for anything is probably an understatement. In my Pin To Top Podcast interview with Karla, I mentioned that she paves the way for anyone who wants to start a business and go beyond the daily grind. She was as scared as hell (ok, maybe not) when she decided to move to another country to scale a business and be closer to her mentors.

Who in your network does that?

How would you know when you’re ready to grow your business or do more in your career?

One, you have CLARITY. Clear goals, clear reasons, clear plan. If you clean your window, you can see better if it’s a clear sky or dark clouds are looming.

Two, you’re willing to TAKE ACTION. Gary Vee once said action is underrated.

Three, when there are PEOPLE WILLING TO HELP. These are MENTORS. Karla launched an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on her Facebook Page Karla Singson. (Heck, she can create a second book out of it.) In my experience, when I am clear about what I am going to do, and I get to map out a plan, there’s a high chance that an expert will pass my way. Since these people are better than me, I take the chance to learn from them.

Clarity. Action. An Expert. If you see these around you, then you are ready.
