Your employees are part of your marketing—when they understand the campaign, your message becomes stronger and more authentic.

When you do a digital marketing campaign, you make sure you prepare your assets, right?

You prepare your target audience, strategy, #socialmedia platforms, even images, and copy.

But NEVER forget your most important asset: your organization.

Why?

Because your employees are part of your marketing. If they don’t know what you are doing online, they could give confused faces to your customers’ inquiries.

I tell you, misalignment of a marketing campaign is a major waste of time and money. Add a dent to your reputation.

Take a look at the Department of Natural Resources’ Mines and Geosciences Bureau (DENR-MGB).

In preparation for their upcoming campaign (can’t tell you anything), they jumpstarted their assigned team members to undergo training.

Nins Mendoza and I gave them basic social media training on how to plan their content in advance. We also taught them online tools that could help improve the way they work.

I hope the other #Philippine #government offices will follow DENR-MGB’s lead in ensuring marketing and organization alignment. Because it works.

Thank you, DENR-MGB! It is an honor to serve the civil servants.
