I watched the movie days after Captain America: Civil War started its production. See, I really can delay rewards.

I just watched the Avengers: Age of Ultron last week. I really can delay rewards, especially if it is watching a movie. I watched it for two reasons: one, I realized that once Tomorrowland and Pitch Perfect 2 hit the theaters, Avengers 2 might be bumped off the cinemas; two, I got a new client to work with.

A new client! I got the latest opportunity from OnlineJobs.ph.

Avengers Lesson 1: Are you a J.A.R.V.I.S.?

If you have seen the Iron Man movies, you are very familiar with his voice. J.A.R.V.I.S. (or Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) is Iron Man’s trusted AI: making sure that everything on his lab (and even his personal concerns) was running smoothly. In the Avengers: Age of Ultron, J.A.R.V.I.S. was no longer just serving Iron Man – he is brilliantly taking tasks from the Avengers team effortlessly.

Are you a J.A.R.V.I.S. to your clients? Do you love to serve them? How much are you willing to improve to make sure that your client’s business (and their lives) is running smoothly? Are you exceptional to become their co-pilot?

I hope that you learn to be the next J.A.R.V.I.S.es after the Date with Freedom, so exceptional that you can be a Vision!

Avengers Lesson 2: Do you have the Hawkeye on your side?

In the movie, all Avengers (but Hawkeye) were a victim of Scarlet Witch’s mental skills, making them see haunting visions of their past. That made them retreat in Hawkeye’s humble abode. Later on, Scarlet Witch, who sided with the Avengers, got a pep talk from Hawkeye.

We all have our concerns. We got the usual shoulda-woulda-couldas: is a virtual career is really for me, do I have what it takes, what if I don’t make it a single client, etc. Believe me, it is going to be easier to think and go back to the life that we are accustomed to, especially when life distracts us.

Do you have a friend like Hawkeye that tells you to “Breathe; you’re going to be fine”? Do you have a mentor like the Bow-and-Arrow-clad Avenger who takes you back to your wits so you can move one step toward your goals?

There are Hawkeyes in the Date with Freedom. Talk to them, learn from them, and connect with them. Most of these Hawkeyes are my friends – and they have the best virtual career lessons for you (maybe even better than my stories). From what I know, they do not have a bow and an arrow, an iron suit and they do not turn green, so I hope you take the chance to get to know them.
