First things first: You are already great.

But I am getting ahead of myself.

I answered a question that stated:

Got any tips on how I can spread awareness about a service I’m trying to provide?

This is clearly a marketing problem.

For a start, here’s how to tell clients how great you are:

1. Tell your friends. Have a referral system to push them to tell potential clients about you.

2. Research 10 people you’d like to help. Then help them using your service. Give it to them for free. Either they hire you or they tell someone about you. (Thanks, Mitch Miller, for this value bomb.)

3. Advertise yourself. Free advertisement is you put content out there. Paid advertisement is you Facebook ads yourself.

There are a lot more things that you can do to promote yourself so that your potential clients can check you out.

The question is: Which of them would you be doing no matter how scared you are?

No right or wrong answer. Just your choice. 🙂
