A week after the Date with Freedom: 2015 Virtual Careers Summit and Seminar, I was able to do create and use the YouTube thumbnail not only on my video blog, but also for my client!

YouTube’s video thumbnails let people see a quick snapshot of your video. But if you don’t want that, you can use the custom video thumbnail. This was one of my skills takeaways from the summit.

First thing first, I made sure that my YouTube channel is in good standing. Then I created the YouTube thumbnail via Canva.

If you watched my latest video blog, you will see that it already has the custom thumbnail.

I also created the custom thumbnail for one of my clients (I even created two options so he can choose). My client appreciated it a lot!
