If you do not like LeadPages because it does not have a free account (it will charge you $40 per month after a 30-day trial), then you can try Unbounce.

I opened a Unbounce account around September 2014 after the first pre-webinar for the VA 202 seminar. Before my 30-day free trial is up, I switched to the free account. I opened it again a last week so I can try to create a landing page.

So here is the tutorial on how to create a landing page in Unbounce:

Step 1: Login to your account. If you don’t have an account yet and you want it for free, click here.

Step 2:  On the left side panel, click Create New Page.

Step 3: Choose which template you prefer. In this tutorial, I chose Lead Generation Minimalist Light.

If you want a template that will work effectively for your product or service, here’s a tip: Go the LeadPages’ Template Marketplace. It showcases the latest effective landing pages per conversion rate, popularity, and price. Then get the closest template that you see in Unbounce (as you will see later in this tutorial, you can tweak the landing page elements).

Step 4: Name your landing page.

Step 5: You are now in the working area of your landing page. Use the left and right panels to tweak your landing page, drop or add more elements.

In the landing page that I created, I adjusted the elements to make sure that they are at the center of the page. Moreover, I tried putting a testimonial in the landing page. This is to show social proof on the landing page.

Step 6: Don’t forget to keep your landing page mobile friendly! Click on the low right side of the working area to adjust the elements for mobile.

Step 7: Always save your work. Click SAVE on the top left side of the working area. When you’re done, click CLOSE BUILDER.

Step 8: You will be back on the main panel (where you were directed after you logged in). Click CHANGE URL on the left side (under your landing page name) to change the URL of your landing page.

Step 9: Click PUBLISH PAGE.

Step 10: Put your Unbounce URL link to the Display URL of the Facebook Ad that you will do.

Bounce for joy when you’re done!
